Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scalpel Hub's website, application, question bank, study notes, study planner, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Scalpel Hub is — and isn't
Scalpel Hub is an educational exam-preparation tool. All questions, explanations, and notes are written and reviewed by our team, not generated by AI. Scalpel Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any licensing or examination body referenced on the platform (including SMC, SCFHS, MOH, DHA, DOH, or SMSB), and use of the Service does not guarantee any exam outcome. Content is provided for educational study purposes only and is not a substitute for official curricula, clinical judgment, or professional medical advice in real patient care.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- Accounts are for individual use. Sharing a single paid account across multiple people is not permitted.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Paid plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, Lifetime) are currently paid via manual payment — bank transfer (Bank of Khartoum / Bankak, in the SDG equivalent of the listed USD price) or USDT on the BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) network, sent 1:1 with the listed USD price — at the price shown at checkout. Card payment (Stripe) is planned but not yet available.
- Manual payments are not automatically charged or renewed — there is no card, bank account, or wallet on file that we can charge or debit. Each billing period (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) requires you to submit a new payment before the current period ends to keep uninterrupted access; we may email a reminder ahead of expiry. Lifetime plans are a one-time payment with no renewal at all.
- A submitted payment is not active immediately — it is reviewed manually by our team (typically within one business day) before your subscription is activated or extended. For USDT, we verify the transaction on-chain via the hash you provide; sending on the wrong network (e.g. Ethereum ERC20 or Tron TRC20 instead of BEP20) is irreversible and outside our ability to recover or refund.
- Refunds are handled case-by-case and in line with applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. [Counsel to confirm a specific refund window/policy before launch.]
- We may change plan pricing going forward; changes won't retroactively affect a billing period you've already paid for.
5. Acceptable use and intellectual property
All questions, explanations, notes, images, and other materials on Scalpel Hub are owned by Scalpel Hub or its licensors and protected by copyright. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access this content for your own exam preparation. You agree not to:
- copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share question bank content, notes, or other materials, in whole or in part;
- scrape, bulk-download, or use automated tools against the Service;
- share your account or subscription access with others;
- reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent access controls or rate limits.
6. User-submitted content
If you submit content to us (error reports via the "flag" feature, personal notes, contact-form messages), you grant us a license to use that content to operate and improve the Service (for example, correcting a flagged question). Personal notes you write remain yours; we do not publish them.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that using it will result in passing any examination. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scalpel Hub disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scalpel Hub and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including exam results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. [Counsel to confirm enforceability of this clause in the relevant jurisdictions.]
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use restrictions in Section 5. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time; see Section 4 for how this interacts with billing.
10. Governing law
[Placeholder — to be finalized with counsel: these Terms are governed by the laws of ______, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of ______ / via arbitration in ______.]Given Scalpel Hub's user base spans the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, this should be chosen deliberately based on where the business is incorporated and where enforcement is most practical.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
